Andrea Hoff will be defending her PhD proposal at 10:00 am (Pacific Time) on Friday, April 30th virtually via Zoom.

Ava Becker successfully defended her PhD dissertation. Congratulations!

Ava Becker successfully defended her PhD dissertation: “After Exile: Heritage Language and Literacy Socialization Across Three Generations in one Chilean-Canadian Family” on March 26th. We were very pleased that the external examiner, Dr. Martha Bigelow, was able to take part in the (Zoom) defence, as were a few of Ava’s guests.
