We are delighted to announce that Penny Moanakwena successfully defended her dissertation this morning: ‘Language and Literacy Practices (LLPs) of Hairdressers in the Botswana Multilingual Context: Implications for Occupational Literacy Development in Vocational Training’.
Her committee included Theresa Rogers (supervisor), Ryuko Kubota and Lee Gunderson. The university examiners were Marlene Asselin and Amy Metcalfe (EDST) and the external examiner was Mastin Prinsloo from the University of Cape Town.
