Warmest congratulations to LLED PhD candidate Monica Shank Lauwo for being awarded a Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship!
These prestigious awards provide two years of funding to “the very best PhD applicants” who will contribute to Canada’s research-based growth. Monica will be based at McGill University for her postdoctoral research on the lives and literacies of Tanzanian girls. Her PhD is currently co-supervised by Dr. Bonny Norton and Dr. Marlene Asselin, with Dr Maureen Kendrick serving on the committee.
