Congratulations to Jonathan Feitosa Ferreira on receiving the LLRC (Language and Literacy Researchers of Canada) Master’s Research Award for his thesis entitled: “Learning Language and Science at Play: Threads of Meaning-Making and Identities” (Completed August 2020; Supervisory Committee: Dr. Maureen Kendrick [supervisor], Dr. Margaret Early and Dr. Bonny Norton).
Jonathan will be presenting his thesis at the CSSE 2021 Virtual Conference. This award is given to individuals who demonstrate:
- Excellence in research;
- Creative and thoughtful representation of data;
- Significance of the work for language and literacy education; and
- Contribution to the research community in general.
