In his dissertation, Takeda addresses the striking similarities between the dispositions critical (media) literacy education aims to cultivate and the ones conspiracy theorists claim to embody. Through philosophical and discourse analytic approaches, Takeda explores how we can demarcate desirable from undesirable forms of critical reading and writing of the wor(l)d.
