To equip educators with innovative anti-oppression strategies and to offer FoE members an open and safe space for meaningful EDID conversations, our event will:
1) introduce the concept of “graphic facilitation”;
2) offer a drawing workshop by a guest artist from the 2SLGBTQ+ community on learning simple approaches to drawings/doodles and visualizing abstract concepts related to equity and diversity;
3) provide a story-sharing session of FoE speakers’ anti-oppression experiences;
4) accommodate a respectful and judgment-free space for socials and craft-making.

What to expect:
- Simple drawing skills of abstract concepts to be applied in teaching or presentation
- EDID discussions with your fellow educators at FoE
- Snacks and unique souvenirs of your own drawings
