Congratulations to Bonnie Sutherland

Bonnie Sutherland is the 2017 recipient of the Alumni Teacher Award which recognizes outstanding achievement by alumni who are making exceptional impacts in the lives of their students and learning communities. She was featured in the North Delta Reporter over the weekend. Congratulations Bonnie on this outstanding achievement!

Congratulations to Dr. Sara Florence Davidson & Amber Moore

We are pleased to announce that two LLED esteemed colleagues were presented with awards at the Canadian Association for Curriculum Studies (CACS) Celebration of Creative Scholar Works on Tuesday May 30th, 2017!

Congratulations Ron Darvin!

Ron was recognized for his research on the digital literacies of high school students in Vancouver, and for actively sharing his research through public talks, media interviews, and teacher workshops for different school districts in BC. He is supervised by LLED Professor Bonny Norton.

Amanda Wager wins the AERA Arts and Learning SIG Dissertation Award 2017

Amanda Wager, recent Ph.D. graduate has been awarded the AERA Arts and Learning SIG Dissertation Award 2017. Congratulations, Amanda!

Dr. Jan Hare Named 2017 Women of Distinction Awards Nominee

Dr. Jan Hare, Assoc. Dean, Indigenous Education and Professor, LLED, has been named as a nominee for the YWCA’s 2017 Women of Distinction Awards in the category of Education, Training & Development. The awards celebration will be held Monday, May 29 at the Vancouver Convention Centre: ywcawomenofdistinction.org
