Rachel Horst

Rachel Horst is a PhD student in the Language and Literacy Education Department. She is interested in narrative as a methodology for critiquing future technologies. She intends to explore how science fiction can be a kind of cyborg literacy that reads into the blurred boundaries between the future and the present, the real and the virtual, our bodies and our machines, the individual mind and the collective totality of our knowledge.
