It’s a great time for School Libraries – celebrate National School Library day at UBC!
This 2 hour professional sharing event will bring together students, educators and librarians to share information and resources. Learn about UBC’s Teacher Librarian Education program, browse a display of publications, and hear about the many relationships that exist between school libraries and other organizations.
Speakers include:
• Introduction/welcome by Peggy Lunn, Head of UBC’s Education Library
• Marlene Asselin, UBC’s Teacher Librarian Education Program
• Dana McFarland, Vancouver Island University
• Kate Henderson and JoAnne Coggan, Telus Science World
• Vancouver Public Library’s Summer Reading Programs
Time: 3:30 – 5:30 PM
Location: Lillooet Room (3rd floor), Irving K Barber Learning Centre, 1961 East Mall.
Free and open to the public – light refreshments provided.
