Abstract:
In this workshop, Ron Darvin discusses how to navigate the labyrinthine process of academic publishing: from choosing a suitable journal to co-authoring and engaging with the peer-review process. To demystify this often opaque journey, participants are invited to send their questions beforehand so that Ron can address specific topics or issues they’re interested in. The workshop will also provide practical tips to help graduate students negotiate different publication norms and expectations, and situate their work for wider dissemination and impact.
