About the grants:
In reponse to COVID-19’s impact on the ability of many LLED faculty members to conduct research while focusing on online teaching and curtailing their in-person empirical research, the department has come up with this funding opportunity. The aim is to stimulate research and scholarship in the Faculty of Education by connecting faculty researchers with graduate students who will play an integral role in a specific research project. Students will benefit from the financial support and research experience while working closely with Faculty members. Faculty will benefit from the research talents of students allowing them to advance their project objectives. Research and scholarship activities that involve graduate students may include: small pilot studies, literature reviews, data collection and analysis, etc.
