Biography
Keith is a Vancouver, B.C.-based artist, educator, and researcher whose work uses arts-based research to bridge the gap between past and present through dialogic, participatory theatrical experiences. As a creative, his interests lie at the intersection where narrative meets reality and how those collisions shape worldview, both past and present. His most recent work, Life in Close-Ups, is a theatrical meditation on grief and grieving through artifacts related to the death of Virginia Woolf. He is an educator with over 20 years of experience in the field from secondary schools to higher education. Keith has held adjunct positions at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts (NYCDA) and in the Program of Educational Theatre at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University (NYU) where he taught for the last nine years. He is a Lincoln City Fellow with the Sparanza Foundation, Creative Consultant with the NYU Verbatim Performance Lab, and a proud member of the Dramatist Guild of America.
