Dr. Jan Hare has been appointed the Principal Investigator of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) titled “Reconciliation through Indigenous Education”. It is one of three courses approved and supported by the UBC Vice Provost’s Office and Flexible Learning. This course will engage educators in opportunities that explore how their teaching practices and school programs may be modified in order to integrate respectfully and meaningfully Indigenous knowledges and pedagogies into the curriculum with the goal of improving educational outcomes for Indigenous/Aboriginal learners and enhancing the learning experiences for all students.
