Congratulations to Dr. George Belliveau and Team

From Dr. Mark Beauchamp:

Please join me in congratulating Dr. George Belliveau, Professor in LLED and his team, for receiving a second UBC Grant for Catalyzing Research Clusters (Emerging Cluster category) to support their UBC Interdisciplinary Research-Based Theatre (RBT) Collaborative cluster. Reviewed by the University’s Social Sciences, Humanities and Creative and Performing Arts clusters review panel, this highly competitive award ($100,000) was one of 27 cluster applications funded from the 84 submitted.

This award will allow the RBT Collaborative to explore theatre as a methodology and mode of knowledge translation that can bring research to life and promote collaborative initiatives between researchers and community members. The cluster’s activities include symposia to showcase RBT research, RBT training workshops, and the development of grant proposals to advance research in RBT.

Best wishes George and team on your cluster activities!
