Congratulations to Dr. Melanie Wong

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Melanie Wong on being the recipient of the Fall 2023 John and Doris Andrews Research and Development Award competition!

Melanie’s project entitled, “Bridging Educational Access Through Inclusive Virtual Makerspaces: A Collaborative Teaching and Learning Project”, will have important impacts on the application of learning technologies in K-12 contexts. Dr. Keri Ewart from MET is also a collaborator on this project.

This award is designed to support educational research and development projects that have an impact on the community and make a contribution to society. The research component must have a direct impact on the community and increase our knowledge and understanding of Canadian education. The development component must be conducted in collaboration with a community educational partner.

Well done, Melanie!
