Congratulations to Dr. Lee Gunderson on being elected into the Reading Hall of Fame

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Lee Gunderson on being elected into the Reading Hall of Fame, an independent organization that recognizes lifetime achievements in the field of reading. The Reading Hall of Fame was established in 1973. Its purpose is to contribute, from the collective experiences of its members, to further improvement in reading instruction. Candidates can only be nominated by members of the Reading Hall of Fame. Criteria for nomination include, active involvement in work in literacy for a minimum of at least twenty-five years, should be widely known and respected by people in the profession, and their contributions should be within the following: authorship of publications on literacy, including reports of significant research; performance in positions of responsibility in the field of literacy; and preparation of leaders in the literacy field through his/her teaching. Lee will be inducted into the Reading Hall of Fame during the December 2021 Literacy Research Association in Atlanta, Georgia.
