A Golden Afternoon: An LLED Alumni Mad Hatter’s Tea

On behalf of Her Royal Highness the Queen of Hearts, you are officially invited to a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in honour of the 150th anniversary of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Hosted by LLED Alumni and sponsored by the Vancouver Children’s Literature Roundtable (VCLR), this Wonderland-themed celebration will benefit a local school library in Vancouver. All proceeds will be distributed by representatives of the B.C. Teacher Librarians’ Association to help a library in need.

Date: October 17th, 2015
Time: 12-2 pm
Location: Sage Bistro, 6331 Crescent Rd, UBC

The event consists of a costumed high tea, academic presentations on various aspects of Alice, and live entertainment that includes poetry readings and music. Enjoy a stimulating afternoon of fun, games, treats and conversation made magical by the topsy-turvy loveliness of Lewis Carroll’s imagination.

Don’t be late for this very important date!
Early Bird pricing available until September 30th, full priced tickets available after October 1st from the VCLR website.
