Join us in congratulating MA student Sonoka Inomoto on being selected as one of the recipients of the AAAL 2025 Graduate Student Award!
The Graduate Student Award is “a merit-based award that supports the attendance of AAAL graduate student members at the annual conference.“ As part of this award, Sonoka will receive a cheque for $1,200 USD and complimentary registration for the conference.
Sonoka will present her paper “Mixed-Heritage Youth Claiming Their Home Languages: A Multiple Case Study of Japanese-Taiwanese High Schoolers“ at the AAAL 2025 Conference in Denver, Colorado.
