Recurring Questions in Technology

Congratulations to our LLED colleagues for their outstanding work in the one week institute, Recurring Questions in Technology held July 9 – 13th, 2012.We are grateful to Dr. John Willinsky for spearheading this novel institute. He worked tirelessly  and graciously over this past year to bring together a group of some of the best, most current scholars in the field. The lectures were given by a wide range of colleagues in Education, the Humanities, and  Communications  from SFU, and UBC  (EDCP and LLED).

John Willinsky led the lectures on the first day, Candace Galla gave the Tuesday evening address, Mary Bryson and Teresa Dobson led the group on Thursday.  Dr. Dobson’s morning lecture and was impressed with her conceptual rigour, and skillful teaching as well the fascinating  and thought-provoking course material that she shared with the students.  A special thank-you to Meike Wernicke, Graduate Teaching Assistant for the course.
