The Centre for Research in Chinese Language & Literacy Education (CRCLLE), in conjunction with the Vancouver School Board, is pleased to announce a one-day symposium on Friday, April 20th entitled “Teaching Canadian Children Chinese: Programs, Principles, and Practices”. Please see the attached flyer for more information and for a link for registration (in yellow). The event is free and open to both the UBC and wider community (teachers, parents, others). In addition to CRCLLE, UBC sponsors for the symposium include the Department of Language & Literacy Education and Asian Studies.
