Caitlin Cornell (Ph.D., Michigan State University) is Associate Director of MSU’s Center for Language Teaching Advancement and Accessibility Coordinator and Advocate for the College of Arts and Letters. In these roles, Dr. Cornell researches and teaches about accessible and disability inclusive additional language education, collaborates with language education organizations nationwide, supports humanities faculty in accessible pedagogy, and advocates for disabled students, faculty, and staff in educational contexts. Her most recent publication in the field of Applied Linguistics was a special issue of Studies in Second Language Acquisition dedicated to disability. She also founded and operates a Community of Practice for Applied Linguistics scholars of (and with) disability.
