Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Transnational Language and Literacy Education Across the Life Course

Situated on the unceded, ancestral and traditional territory of the hənqəminəm-speaking xwmə0kwəyəm (Musqueam people), the Department of Language and Literacy Education (LLED) in the Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Transnational Language and Literacy Education Across the Life Course.

The scholar hired into this professoriate stream position will collaborate with our colleagues and graduate students to galvanize innovative research opportunities to cultivate antiracist, decolonial, and anti-oppressive transformation in one or more of these specializations: learners from refugee backgrounds, undocumented and racialized migrants, diasporic communities, or students who live in poverty. This position is expected to commence July 1, 2022 (or as negotiated with the successful candidate).
